Our worm gearboxes are efficient, economical and versatile gear units. These gear boxes come with the following parts :

• Gear Case : Rigidity, strength and high resistance to shock loads. It is ribbed design made of close-grained cast iron and is oil tight, dust proof and water proof. Breather drain out plug and lifting lugs provided at suitable location
• Worm and worm wheel : The worm is special alloy steel duty worms are generated on thread milling machines and wheels are made from selected grade of phosphorous bronze, cast under controlled conditions to gibe best combination of strength and bearing properties
• Bearings : The worm shaft and wheel and shaft are mounted on ball or taper roller bearings. All bearings are of ample capacity to take radial and thrust loads
• Lubrication : Oil bath lubrication is provided to lubricate both the shaft bearings and the gear sets for extra smooth running, to efficient circulate oil to the high and low speed bearings depending on the working position of the unit
• Cooling : Air cooling is effected by means of standard plastic or metal fans which direct a continuous flow of air over the ribbed surface of the case. Suitable fans and ribs are provided for cooling

The worm gear boxes are well tested for their performance. Our worm gear boxes are also well tested for full speed test is carried out to verify smooth and noiseless operation.
